Top companies in terms of expense of RDCs
As many as 89 companies and organizations aired different Radio Commercials (RDCs) on different radio stations of the country in May, 2014. Grameenphone Limited spent the highest amount to air its 9,079 RDCs. Total expense of Grameenphone Limited to air its commercials on different radio stations was more than TK 20 million. Giant conglomerate company Pran-RFL Group was the second highest spender that spent over TK 12 million to air its 10,821 RDCs. Another giant company Unilever Bangladesh Ltd was the third highest spender that spent over TK 11 million to air its 11,644 RDCs. Grameenphone Limited spent much more money than Pran-RFL Group and Unilever Bangladesh Ltd did individually to air their RDCs since average duration of RDCs of Grameenphone Limited was much higher than that of Pran-RFL Group and Unilever Bangladesh Ltd. Axiata (Bangladesh) Limited and Banglalink Digital Communications Limited were in 4th and 5th places respectively in the same month in terms of expense of RDCs.
